jessicadrake3 287x300 Interview with Jessica Drake, the Donald Trump of the Adult BizJessica Drake knows how to get down. To business that is! The self made adult actress, writer, dancer, producer, and director knows a thing or two about the adult industry. A Wicked pictures featured girl, Jessica Drake sounds off on technology, Twitter, and how she feels about men around the world “doing her” using her recently unveiled Realdoll sex doll.

Tell us a little bit about yourself – where are you from and what do you do?
My name is jessica drake & i’m a contract performer, writer, and director for Wicked Pictures. I also own and operate www.jessicadrake.com, the most interactive adult star site on the web.

How did you get into porn and is it the best job in the world?
I was going to college and dancing in Texas when I decided to try to be a feature entertainer. I realized that the bigger name girls had done magazines and movies, so I visited LA and met some people that were in the business, and while I was considering doing movies I did some magazine work, some Playboy TV, some softcore movies for Cinemax, HBO, Showtime, and about 6 months later I decided to make an adult movie…and now i’ve made a whole career out of it! I do love my job, and I have been able to live out so many fantasies (both sexually and non-sexually) by being in the adult business.

How long have you been with Wicked and what is your favorite movie you’ve done with them?

I’ve been with Wicked now for 6 years, and I think that they are by far the most amazing company. We make feature movies with some great acting, cool locations, stories that are actually interesting, and to top it off we shoot award-winning sex scenes! I’d say that my favorite movie of all time would be FALLEN. We really pulled out all the stops for that one. I won my third AVN Best Actress award for my role as a Fallen Angel. Some of my other favorites are 2040, Manhunters, Wicked Games, The Collector, The Craving, Alibi, Love Always, and Hush.

Tell us a little bit about the movies you’ve written and directed and how that’s different than acting in them?
I love writing, it comes very easily to me. My favorite screenplay is Love Always, which I was the co-star of as well. I tend to write dramas that may not necessarily have happy endings… but they definitely make you feel something, make you think. I’ve directed a few movies so far, the latest is 3 Days in June, which comes out in a couple months. I LOVE directing, but it’s a completely different game. When i’m talent, I have to show up on time, bring my wardrobe, know my dialogue, and have a good attitude & great sex. When i direct, I have to do EVERYTHING- write it, do the budget, the shoot schedule, cast the movie, book locations, do wardrobe, build/decorate sets, direct it, sit with my editor until it’s done…that being said, I’m in love with creating the kind of movies that are worthy of having the Wicked logo on them!

Do you prefer acting in movies or dancing?
That’s kind of like apples vs oranges. those things are so different. When I act, I get to create a character and have sex- when I’m on the road dancing, I get to be naked onstage, put on cool shows, and meet fans- and I love that part of my job too. I’m one of the most involved adult performers you’ll ever meet. I love all of my fans so much.

You’re on Twitter and your website is really interactive – do you think technology like Twitter has been beneficial for your career?
I think that the evolution of technology is making it possible to offer fans something they can’t pirate- real attention from me. I appreciate the interactivity, and being able to keep everyone posted on what I’m up to is just amazing.

Did you know about Realdoll before you worked with them?
I was very familiar with Realdoll before our collaboration. As a matter of fact, as i realized that I had enough of a “name” to have a very successful adult toy line, I wondered if one day I could have a Realdoll… it’s so surreal to me!

How were you involved in the making of the Real Doll? What did they have to do to make it look like you?
When we were creating my Realdoll, I was there every step of the way. I met with Matt, the owner, and he explained the process in great detail and answered all of my questions. It’s a really scientific process. My body and my face was scanned by a computer from head to toe, all the way around. The doll is an EXACT replica of me, right down to the life lines on my palms. When I saw that detail, I was very impressed. My hands and feet were molded separately for even more details like my nails and veins. My doll has the same dimples in her lower back that I have. When it was time to put the finishing touches on the face, I went back to the Realdoll office and worked with their makeup artist for added realism. Overall, It’s one of the coolest things I”ve ever done.

How did they make the intimate parts? Was it uncomfortable?
My “ladyparts” were molded to be exactly the same as the real thing. That meant another visit to Realdoll, where their specialists poured a special mixture around my bits as I was on a table in a rather compromising position. It was cold, but it warmed up rather quickly. Even my nipples were done in the same way. I’m really impressed by the likeness.

How do you feel about people you’ve never even met sleeping with “you” in the form of your Real Doll?
I’m really flattered. My collaboration with Realdoll is giving me the ability to fulfill the fantasies of even more people, and that someone would enjoy me so much that they’d take me home and make me theirs is quite the turn on. I’ve already gotten a few emails from people telling me how much they enjoy me!
