Nosy anti-porn partners sometimes get upset when their hubby, wifey (or employee!) is spending all his or her time online looking at porn. We can’t understand it, but there certainly is a rather large market for people wanting to find out what’s really going on on their computer. Well that’s where this little bundle of joy comes in. The Porn Detection Stick, $98.95, plugs into your computer’s USB port and will search out any images on your computer that could be pornographic. How? The Porn Detection Stick uses algorithms to analyze flesh tones, shapes, curvatures, face detection, and body part separation, to spit back all the images that may indeed be porn. The thing can scan over 70,000 images in an hour and a half with only a .0006% false positive result. Wow, I foresee the Porn Stick making it really hard for those of us who like to look at porn while at work.

@flux: Your claim wasn’t that porn is harmful to marriages. It was that porn is cheating. You were the one who arrogantly made the claim as if it were airtight and completely logical. I agree that porn can be harmful, if the person enjoying it isn’t honest about their enjoyment of it to their partner and is discovered. Even if they are honest about it, it can be an issue if their partner has a problem with it. However, to say it is cheating is quite a stretch. Maybe it validates you in some way because you feel more evolved that porn doesn’t grab your fancy, but don’t condescend to everyone else out of some perceived morally superior position.
Perhaps it is the puritanical attitude that condemns harmless, casual enjoyment of pornography that destroys relationships due to the irrationality and insecurity of the person who feels the need to create his/her sense of victimhood. Single and married folks alike explore a personal and individual dimension of sexuality through conscious and unconscious methods. To condemn a person because he or she masturbates to a video, picture, or story seems as wrong as someone who gets off to a dream or rubs one out in the shower. You want to legitimize the concept of a moral thought-crime. I think if you need to spy on your partner because you have hangups about porno, they are not the one with the problem.

@pcypert: unfortunately you’re right.. :( that’s why i said "hopefully". It’s definitely a daily battle for 90% of men to constantly be turning away from porn in all its forms.
I’m not sure more scandals is a plus… for anyone.
