With a recent announcement that Wal-Mart will be offering sex toys, now you really can consider the shopping super center one-stop shopping for all your needs! With stores across the nation, the Wal-Mart corporation has been doing market research to determine exactly where these sex toys will be best received. And it ain’t New York City. Wal-Mart plans to unveil their “Home Pleasure” center in rural Iowa. The “store-within-a-store” plans to offer vibrators and dildos at discounted prices.

According to Wal-Mart spokesman Edward Kennedy, “While we expect some risk in this venture, our research indicates that women in rural parts of the country have largely unfulfilled desires and needs for these items.” Especially with market research pointing to the majority of people buying these toys are married women.  Kennedy told Glossy News that the female customers surveyed had admitted that they “most desired sex toys in the summer time, when their husbands worked the farms from dusk to dawn, seven days a week.”

The Home Pleasure department is reportedly to be placed near the gun and ammo section so while men are shopping for new guns, their ladies can go shop for sex toys. “We are already the volume leader in condoms and birth control pills in our pharmacies. So we feel that today’s Wal-Mart woman will readily welcome these additions.”
